In a strategic move aimed at revolutionizing inmate reform and integration, the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department’s Correctional and Rehabilitation Policies Committee recently convened to assess the implementation of its digital initiatives across facilities. Led by ADJD Under-Secretary Counselor Yousef Saeed Al Abri, the meeting scrutinized operational procedures, drawing insights from global best practices to enhance efficiency and performance metrics. Emphasizing alignment with directives from His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the department reaffirmed its commitment to modernizing management systems in line with international standards. Additionally, efforts are underway to expand alternatives to imprisonment for minor offenses under the newly developed legislation governing correctional and rehabilitation centers in Abu Dhabi.
