High Court overturns PSA detention of two south Kashmir youngsters

The High Court of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh overturned the Public Safety Act detention of two Anantnag residents in Central Jail Kot Balwal Jammu (PSA). The detainees challenged the impugned order because the allegations of militant sympathies were vague and non-existent. Advocate Bashir Ahmed Tak claimed the detainees were arrested in old cases on frivolous charges. The court of Justice Vinod Chatterji Koul ordered their release from the Kot Balwal Jail.
