Ajman’s manufacturing landscape is gathering pace, with 460 industrial establishments registered across the emirate during the first quarter of 2026, underscoring a steady rise in investor appetite and industrial activity.
Officials at the Ajman Chamber said the emirate’s industrial expansion is being fuelled by a mix of strategic advantages — from modern infrastructure and investor-friendly regulations to its geographic positioning and growing logistics appeal. The chamber also pointed to continued efforts aimed at helping factories and industrial firms sharpen competitiveness and scale operations.
The latest figures arrived alongside Ajman Chamber’s participation in the “Make in the Emirates” platform, where the emirate showcased its industrial ambitions under the Ajman Government Pavilion. The event became a hub for discussions between investors, government representatives and private sector players exploring future partnerships and manufacturing opportunities.
During the gathering, Ajman promoted a broad range of industrial sectors including food production, healthcare-related manufacturing, agricultural products, chemicals, refining and petrochemicals. Officials said the outreach is designed to pull in fresh investment, widen industrial capacity and create pathways into overseas markets.
Ajman’s construction sector also reflected the broader economic momentum, with contract values touching nearly $1.03 billion in the first quarter.
The chamber noted that participation in international exhibitions and industry-focused platforms remains central to its strategy of helping local businesses strengthen export visibility and establish regional and global commercial ties.
Executives involved in the initiative said the “Make in the Emirates” platform served as a meeting ground for manufacturers, entrepreneurs and investors from multiple markets, creating opportunities to exchange expertise, study emerging industrial technologies and expand commercial networks.
According to chamber representatives, exposure to advanced manufacturing trends and innovation-driven industries is becoming increasingly important as Ajman positions itself as a more diversified industrial and investment destination within the UAE.
