In a recent collaboration, the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) hosted an in-depth workshop titled “Forensic Procedures in Field Accidents,” specifically designed for the Ministry of Defence personnel. This initiative marks a significant step in strengthening cooperation and providing specialized training in forensic sciences.
The workshop, forming a part of a larger agreement between ADJD and the Ministry, offered a detailed exploration of handling field accident cases. The sessions underscored the UAE’s commitment to upholding high judicial and professional standards, reflecting the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court.
Participants delved into the operations of the Criminal and Electronic Sciences Centre, renowned for its adherence to international standards. The workshop also covered forensic protocols for incidents involving explosives, firearms, chemical agents, and toxic substances. It provided valuable insights into the work of electronic and chemical laboratories, highlighting the role of cutting-edge technology in modern forensic investigations.
