ADNOC Distribution Expands Industrial Push With Multi-Million Dirham UAE Supply Deals

ABU DHABI — ADNOC Distribution has deepened its footprint in the UAE’s industrial sector after signing fresh agreements with Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) and Borouge worth more than AED60 million during the Make it in the Emirates exhibition.

The partnerships place ADNOC Distribution at the center of a growing push toward locally produced industrial solutions, with the company supplying an extensive range of lubricants and specialty products tailored for heavy manufacturing and large-scale operations.

At the core of the agreements is ADNOC Voyager, the company’s flagship lubricants brand, which continues to widen its reach beyond the domestic market. Manufactured in the UAE, ADNOC Distribution’s lubricant portfolio is already exported to more than 50 countries, reflecting the company’s ambitions to position locally made products on the global industrial stage.

Under the collaboration with EGA, ADNOC Distribution will provide high-performance lubricants designed for the demanding conditions of aluminium production and industrial processing. The deal aligns with the UAE’s Operation 300bn strategy, which aims to accelerate industrial growth and strengthen local manufacturing capabilities.

EGA, one of the country’s industrial heavyweights, already channels a significant portion of its procurement spending into the domestic economy. The new arrangement is expected to further reinforce in-country value by increasing the use of UAE-blended lubricants across EGA’s operations.

Meanwhile, ADNOC Distribution’s agreement with Borouge focuses on advancing localized production of specialized materials, including pharma-grade white oil. Initial production exceeding 40 metric tonnes has already been completed and tested in the UAE, while plans are moving ahead for larger-scale manufacturing runs.

The two companies are also collaborating on sustainable packaging initiatives for lubricant products. One project under development uses Borouge’s high-density polyethylene materials to create lighter packaging solutions incorporating recycled content, an effort aimed at reducing environmental impact while maintaining industrial-grade durability.

ADNOC Distribution said the agreements further strengthen its lubricants division, which now offers more than 520 products across automotive, industrial and specialty sectors. The business also recently renewed its lubricant manufacturing In-Country Value certification with a 96 percent score, among the highest recorded in the UAE.

The company has additionally highlighted ADNOC Voyager’s latest technical milestone after becoming the first lubricant brand in the Middle East to secure the newest API SQ / ILSAC GF-7 certification, a benchmark tied to engine protection, efficiency and performance standards.

The latest deals underscore a broader strategy unfolding across the UAE: building industrial resilience through domestic manufacturing, localized supply chains and export-ready production capabilities.
