Vasquez, along with her five-member team, is departing from Brown Rudnick to bolster Sheppard Mullin’s reputation management practice.
Joining Vasquez in this transition are partners Leo Presiado, Andrew Crawford, Jessica Meyers, and Samuel Moniz. Their collective expertise, honed during the high-profile Depp trial, is set to enhance Sheppard Mullin’s capabilities in brand and reputation management.
At Brown Rudnick, Vasquez led the brand and reputation management group and made headlines for her role in Depp’s trial. Her move to Sheppard Mullin comes with a focus on integrating brand reputation services into the firm’s business trial practice, which boasts a substantial team of around 250 lawyers globally.
The shift underscores the importance of public perception in legal battles, as Vasquez emphasizes, “Winning in the court of public opinion” is crucial for both individuals and corporations.
