Kuwait’s Compassionate Gesture: Over 200 Prisoners Granted Freedom in Swift Amiri Pardon Implementation

In a display of swift action and compassion, Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior has honored the Amiri pardon by releasing 214 inmates from the confines of the central prison. This noble decision, in alignment with prior reports from Al-Seyassah / Arab Times, underscores a broader amnesty initiative encompassing 912 individuals. Among them, 698 beneficiaries have received mitigated sentences, alongside exemptions from fines, bails, and judicial deportation.

The efficiency of this endeavor stands as a testament to the seamless collaboration between the Amiri Diwan, the Public Prosecution, and the Ministry of Interior. Through their concerted efforts, they’ve facilitated the liberation of prisoners who’ve exhibited remarkable conduct and rehabilitation during their incarceration.
