Abu Dhabi, January 11, 2024 – In a historic collaboration, Minister of Justice Abdullah bin Sultan bin Awad Al Nuaimi and his Egyptian counterpart Omar Marwan inaugurated an innovative platform enabling Egyptian expatriates in the UAE to seamlessly access judicial services from the comfort of their homes.

This groundbreaking initiative, a joint effort with the UAE’s Multi Level Group (MLG), marks the first-of-its-kind platform outside the borders of Egypt. Functioning as a virtual gateway, it empowers users to request various judicial services, spanning from certificate issuance to translations and notarial processes.

Addressing the media at the Emirates Palace after the platform’s launch, Minister Marwan emphasized its significance as a “modern window for providing judicial services remotely in a reliable manner.” He underscored the platform’s emergence as a tangible outcome of the robust strategic partnership and cooperation shared between Egypt and the UAE.

Minister Al Nuaimi echoed these sentiments, declaring the platform a testament to the unwavering bonds between the two nations. He emphasized the UAE’s commitment to delivering top-notch services to its residents, including the essential realm of judicial services.

An insightful demonstration during the press conference showcased the platform’s cutting-edge capabilities, featuring the issuance of certified certificates from the Egyptian Foreign Ministry and the Egyptian Embassy in Abu Dhabi in an astonishing 8 minutes.

Minister Marwan revealed that the trial phase would meticulously evaluate the platform’s performance to identify and overcome any challenges. He further disclosed plans to expand the initiative, contemplating additional platforms in different cities across the UAE. Looking ahead, the Ministry of Justice aspires to extend the platform to countries boasting large Egyptian communities or holding significant investments in Egypt.
