UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs Renamed as Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The UAE’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has announced a significant change as it officially becomes the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This name change signifies a more focused approach towards handling foreign affairs and highlights the ministry’s core responsibilities. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Minister responsible for the portfolio, will now be known as the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Along with the name change, the ministry has updated its social media handles to MoFAUAE (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) from MoFAICUAE (Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation). The Ministry of Foreign Affairs acts as a vital link between the UAE’s leadership, its people, and the rest of the world. Its key objectives include promoting global peace, resolving international disputes through dialogue and legal arbitration, charting the country’s foreign policy, and protecting the interests of the UAE and its citizens abroad.
