Firstly, acknowledgment of the Shura Council’s endorsement of a draft law governing real estate registration.
Secondly, the Cabinet’s nod to a draft law amending select provisions of the Penal Code, stipulated by Law No. (11) of 2004, with subsequent referral to the Shura Council.
Thirdly, approval of a draft law amending specific clauses of the Qatar Financial Center (QFC) Law, enacted by Law No. (7) of 2005, referred likewise to the Shura Council.
Fourthly, the Cabinet finalized the ratification process for the following:
1. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) establishing a bilateral consultation mechanism between the State of Qatar and the Republic of South Africa.
2. An MoU on the reciprocal recognition of maritime qualification certificates for seafarers, fostering collaboration between the State of Qatar and Georgia.
Fifthly, the Cabinet gave the green light to a draft MoU between the Ministry of Interior in the State of Qatar and its counterpart in the Arab Republic of Egypt, focusing on cooperation in the field of combating crime.
