This new initiative, which aligns with the country’s Child Protection System, aims to protect the emotional well-being and dignity of children involved in legal matters.
The specially designed room offers a comforting environment where children can feel secure while giving statements, ensuring that their privacy is preserved and they are shielded from psychological harm. Equipped with modern technology, it allows for the seamless recording of children’s testimonies, whether they are affected by neglect, abuse, or other social issues.
Interactive elements such as games and visual aids are incorporated into the space to help children communicate in a way that feels natural and non-threatening. A team of professional male and female social workers, trained in child care and trauma-sensitive techniques, oversee the investigations, ensuring that the process remains gentle and respectful while safeguarding the child’s best interests.
