Abu Dhabi has officially broken up with bureaucracy.
In its boldest step yet toward a frictionless future, the Abu Dhabi Public Prosecution has unveiled a suite of 35 smart legal services—completely automated, entirely digital, and free of human bottlenecks. It’s the latest push in the UAE’s larger “Zero Bureaucracy” drive, and it’s not just talk. The paperwork is gone, signatures are digital, and the entire legal service experience is now 24/7 and screen-deep.
Need a “No Appeal” certificate? A record of how long your passport’s been held? A court judgment copy or proof of fine payment? All of it—instantly accessible, processed without human hands, and signed electronically with legal force. These aren’t beta features; they’re live and operational via the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department’s website and mobile app.
Abu Dhabi’s Attorney-General, Counselor Ali Mohamed Al Balushi, said the overhaul isn’t just about cutting red tape—it’s about redefining how justice meets technology. Backed by the directives of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the initiative aims to evolve the judiciary into a smart, responsive ecosystem rooted in innovation.
Gone are the days of standing in queues and stamping paper. The emirate’s legal system now clicks forward with the swipe of a screen, delivering efficiency with precision. Al Balushi emphasized that this shift isn’t just technical—it’s strategic, reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s role as a regional powerhouse in judicial innovation and digital governance.
With this leap, Abu Dhabi isn’t just joining the digital age—it’s shaping it.
