In a stride towards bolstering the legal fraternity, the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) proudly welcomed 13 new Emirati applicants into its esteemed fold. Spearheaded by Yousef Saeed Alabri, the Undersecretary of the Judicial Department, the Lawyers Affairs Committee convened to deliberate over crucial matters concerning legal practice in the UAE.
Beyond the induction of fresh legal talent, the Committee meticulously scrutinized a plethora of applications, exhibiting unwavering commitment to upholding standards of professionalism and integrity within the legal domain. Notably, the Committee adjudicated upon three complaints leveled against legal practitioners, demonstrating a resolute stance against any semblance of misconduct.
Furthermore, the session witnessed deliberations regarding the renewal of licenses for ten lawyers, whose credentials had lapsed over a span of two months. Additionally, the Committee entertained the aspirations of four lawyers seeking inclusion in the roster of non-practicing legal professionals, thereby accommodating diverse career trajectories within the legal landscape.
The august gathering, attended by luminaries such as Judge Bouchaib Hajamy and Judge Assem Elsaadany, underscored the collaborative effort towards fostering a robust legal ecosystem. With Mohamed Dhewaiher Alkatheeri, Attorney Abdullah Fadhl Al Hammadi, and Khamees Mubarak Al Qubaisi contributing their expertise as well, the Committee epitomized diligence and foresight in steering legal affairs towards excellence.
As the legal fraternity in Abu Dhabi continues to evolve, the ADJD’s unwavering dedication to meritocracy and ethical conduct stands as a beacon of inspiration for legal practitioners nationwide.
