Empowering Legal Landscape: Abu Dhabi Judicial Department Grants Licenses to 28 Law Firms for Private Notary Functions

In a strategic move to fortify the economic and investment landscape and elevate the global standing of the Emirates in the Ease of Doing Business Index, the Private Notaries Committee of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) has given the green light to 28 law firms, approving their registration and granting the necessary licenses to engage in private notary services.

Under the leadership of Yousef Saeed Alabri, the Undersecretary of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, a pivotal decision was made during a committee meeting. The session, attended by key committee members including Yousif Hasan Alhosani, Abdulla Saif Zahran, Mohamed Hesham ElRafei, and Khaled Salem Altamimi, witnessed the examination of operational statistics and a customer satisfaction survey that achieved an impressive 97% satisfaction rate.

The committee’s proactive approach was further evident as they greenlit an application for the transfer and renewal of a private notary registration during the same meeting. This strategic move is poised to enhance the overall competitiveness of the economic and investment environment, affirming the commitment of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department to fostering a robust legal framework in the region.
