Kuwait City is set for a visual transformation as new advertising regulations come into play, thanks to the swift actions of the Kuwait Municipality under Ministerial Decree No. 599 of 2023.
In a recent statement, Minister of Public Works and Minister of Municipal Affairs Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan emphasized the urgency of these new rules to combat the unsightly and chaotic state of current street advertisements. These regulations aim to significantly enhance the city’s visual appeal by ensuring that all advertisements meet specific aesthetic criteria.
Dr. Al-Mashaan underscored the municipality’s dedication to maintaining high standards for public advertisements, reducing the visual clutter that detracts from Kuwait’s urban beauty. The new guidelines mandate high-quality, uniform advertisements that align with the set standards, promising a more visually pleasing environment for residents and visitors alike.
Violations of these regulations will be strictly penalized, ensuring compliance and a cleaner, more organized cityscape.
