In a high-profile meeting during the UAE President’s official visit to Pakistan, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif explored avenues to deepen cooperation across economy, investment, and development sectors.
Sheikh Mohamed, welcomed warmly by Prime Minister Shehbaz, highlighted the enduring bonds between the two nations, rooted not only in diplomacy but in cultural and people-to-people connections. He recalled the vision of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan in fostering lasting ties with Pakistan.
The discussion extended beyond bilateral matters, touching on regional and global developments. Both leaders emphasized the value of peace, stability, and collaboration in addressing international challenges. Sheikh Mohamed underlined the UAE’s commitment to dialogue and diplomacy as the cornerstone for resolving disputes and advancing shared prosperity.
Prime Minister Shehbaz praised the UAE’s role in supporting development initiatives within Pakistan and acknowledged the growing partnership between the two countries. The meeting also noted Pakistan’s current seat on the UN Security Council as a platform to amplify joint efforts for global peace.
The talks included key UAE officials, such as Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, alongside ministers, senior officials, and UAE Ambassador Salem Mohammed Al Zaabi.
