In a recent announcement by the Recruitment Cell of the Supreme Court of India, changes have been made to the scheduled date for the Written Test in relation to the selection process of qualified candidates for the position of Law Clerk-cum-Research Associates for the year 2023-2024.
The examination, which consists of Part-I (Multiple Choice Based Questions) and Part-II (Subjective Written Examination), was originally planned to take place on May 27, 2023. However, it will now be conducted on Sunday, June 4, 2023, in a pen and paper format. The examination will be held in two shifts: Part-I from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and Part-II from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Multiple centers across the country will facilitate the examination.
It is worth noting that due to an insufficient number of candidates opting for Imphal, Srinagar, and Visakhapatnam, no examinations will be held in these cities. Instead, candidates who initially selected these cities will be assigned their second preference of examination centers.
Applicants can obtain their Admit Cards to appear for the examination from the Supreme Court of India’s website in due course.
To aid candidates in their preparation, the Supreme Court of India has also uploaded a “Sample Guide” containing illustrative questions and answers on its website.
